# Map Setup Enhancements - Change Log

## 🔧 Fixes Applied

### 1. ✅ VectorMap.tsx - Fixed Deprecated Method
**File:** `frontend/src/components/home/VectorMap.tsx`  
**Lines:** 286-288

**Issue:**
- Used deprecated `.substr()` method
- TypeScript shows warning about deprecated API

**Fix:**
```typescript
// Before (deprecated)

const g = parseInt(hex.substr(2, 2), 16);
const b = parseInt(hex.substr(4, 2), 16);

// After (modern)
const r = parseInt(hex.substring(0, 2), 16);

```

**Impact:**
- ✅ No more deprecation warnings
- ✅ Future-proof code
- ✅ Better TypeScript compatibility

**What Was Added:**

## 📍 Setup Page Map Flow

### Step-by-Step:

1. **Import from Map Link** (Optional)
   ```
   User pastes Google Maps or Mapy.cz link
   → MapLinkImporter extracts coordinates
   → Fills latitude/longitude fields
   → Map preview appears automatically
   ```

2. **Manual Entry** (Alternative)
   ```
   User types latitude: 50.0755
   User types longitude: 14.4378
   → Map preview appears automatically
   → Shows location with club colors
   ```

3. **Visual Verification**
   ```
   User sees map preview
   → Checks if location is correct
   → Sees marker with club colors
   → Can adjust coordinates if wrong
   ```

4. **Continue Setup**

   → Continue to color selection
   → Complete setup

## 🎨 Map Preview Features

### Automatic Features:
- ✅ Uses **Positron style** (clean, light)
- ✅ Shows **club name** in marker popup
- ✅ Applies **primary color** to marker
- ✅ Applies **accent color** to elements
- ✅ 300px height (perfect for preview)
- ✅ Zoom level 15 (city level)

### Reactive:
- Updates when latitude changes
- Updates when longitude changes
- Updates when club name changes
- Updates when colors change
- Shows/hides based on valid coordinates
